hey
Just wanted to know if anyone plays or has played the wii sports series of games? I do, and love them, as most of them can be played by a blind person. The one game that alot of people are amazed that I can play is the wii sports baseball. They always ask, how do you do it? Well, for anyone that's reading this and wants to know, it's easy. Listen for the quiet swish sound, and as soon as you hear it, swing, dont wait for the bang sound, because it's already too late, the ball has hit the ground. Just memorizing the timing between the fastball, and the other pitches, and after a while, you'll be great. My favorite is the home run dirby mini game. I usually can hit around 7 or 8 home runs. But that's how to play baseball, but if anyone wants to know how to play any other of the wii sports series of games or madden for wii in a blindness perspective, i would be glad to help anyone out with it.

are you able to actively play madden? I've got a wii, and feel comfortable with wii sports, but haven't ventured out to like madden or MLB.

maddens very easy to play once you are in a game. Madden has alot of sound cues to look for. First, make sure you wait for your qb to say set after you pick a play, because if you dont, you'll be called for a false start just like in real footballl. The second thing that you need to do is choose what you want to do with the ball. If you want to pass, after you hear set, and flick your wrist, put your controler in the direction you want to throw. If the reciever catches it, you will hear the announcer say it's caught, then you can move your arms back and fourth with very little motion. Listen both to your announcers and the running backs sound. If you think your rb is about to get hit, do a left right left arm movement. Move your arm forward to run strait. As far as picking a play goes, it's very awesome. All ablind madden player has to know is, the b button on the controler picks passing plays, and the a button picks running ones. If your not sure what play to call, from the play call screen, just press b. Madden will tell you what your about to call example: running the ball seams like a good way to pick up the first. If that's not what you want to do, just press b, then press your down button twice. Thiis changes the play to a passing one. I've only played madden 12 for wii so i'm not sure if this is the case with 13 as I don't have it

I love the boxing game too; Hannah's aunt has it, and her dad borrowed it one week or so shortly before I got pregnant with her. I got so into that game that I made my arms sore, and at the same time, ended up hitting my dog with one of the controls, not knowing she was sitting on the flor in front of me watching everything that was going on, and I felt aweful about it, because I hadn't meant to hit her.
I've always wished, if they haven't already, develop "ready to rumble," for the Wii, sense I like the sounds/action for that a lot better.
